Central West & Blue Mountains Trout - NSW

Josh, Murray & Max have spent 20 years exploring the local streams and discovering the secrets of the Central West and Blue Mountains area. Only 2 hours from Sydney, AFF’s one to two day trips will take you to the best spots on secluded streams and lakes.

Whether you want to catch your first fish on fly, or simply refine your skills, AFF’s one-to-one tuition equips you with the knowledge and techniques you need to catch more fish. As evidenced by the Aussie Fly Fisher social media updates, our team ensure their clients enjoy the highest success rate within the area.

AFF Guides and clients practice ‘catch and release’ for all stream caught trout. Aussie Fly Fisher Guides are trained in first aid, have full personal liability insurance, and hold a certified Eco Pass to Guide in The Blue Mountains, Kanangra-Boyd & Kosciuszko National Parks – Licence # LIC17/3.


  • One angler – $650
  • Two anglers – $750 inclusive – (Additional anglers* – $100 per person)
    *There is a maximum of two anglers for stream fishing. Larger groups have a variety of lake options.


  • 9 hours of guiding and tuition

Spring / Autumn

October long weekend to June long weekend is open season for NSW rivers. Peak fishing periods* for these rivers and creeks are October, November and early December as well as March, April and early May. *Please note, these months book out quickly.
