Blue Mountains Fly Fishing

The Central West, Blue Mountains rivers and streams are open and productive October to June every year, with trophy lake sight-fishing options most productive in the winter months but fishing well all year round.

Lithgow & Oberon is a central location for a variety of stream & lake fishing options. With most productive water within two to two and a half hours drive from Sydney, the trip is a convenient weekend getaway. We offer tailored accommodation packages to make your stay easy and enjoyable.

If you’ve got a little more time, we offer bespoke packages which includes pack-rafting and/or heli options as well as multi-day hikes where you can safely explore the wonders of the Blue Mountains region.

Lake Fishing

From Late May to Early September, the Blue Mountains boast excellent lake fishing.

Browns & Rainbow Trout

The Blue Mountains & Central-West region has a good population of Brown & Rainbow trout.
